Originally from Brittany, I graduated from the University of Strathclyde in the year 2000. Initially working has a dual Orthotic and Prosthetic practitioner, I eventually became a full time Prosthetist. I have worked in different NHS prosthetic centres rapidly building a reputation for my commitment to deliver the highest level of prosthetic care to all patients. The nature of my work at in my last position with ProActive Prosthetics has meant that the majority of patients I worked with had suffered limb loss as a result of a trauma. Therefore, I have considerable experience and exposure to more advanced fitting and technology, as a result of working with this particular patient group. I believe this makes me one of the most experienced prosthetists in this area of Prosthetic rehabilitation. Prior to this, as a lead clinician at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and as a consultant at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre Headley Court, I have worked relentlessly in ensuring the provision of modern technical and clinical solutions to all our patients
I have been involved in the trial and launch of new products from ankle foot biomimetic device to Microprocessor Knee (MPK), presenting and sharing my knowledge to both national and international audiences. I also been mentoring and educating students and graduates from both Strathclyde and Salford Universities in the arts and science of prosthetics.
Recently, I have taken the step in establishing my own practice. A practice reflecting my professional passion, value and ethic, where care is not solely determined by the sophistication of a prosthesis but rather by the processes of its delivery and its outcome, a philosophy of care that value the individuals, respond to their need and aspiration.
I have a keen interest in developing new limb system to assist with outdoor activities. I specialised in the delivery of dedicated cycling, horse riding and climbing/mountaineering limbs.
